Courtyard By Marriott Dallas Northwest – Hotel near airport in Dallas

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, but they had a moldy smell and also a lingering smell of smoke. The hotel's service was exceptional, with extremely caring and helpful staff, including Alex and Bryan. The location was convenient for my week of meetings but seemed a little sketchy. The dining experience was not very inviting, even as a gold card holder. However, the pool area overlooked the pool, which was a nice touch.

The hotel has modern, well-done rooms with expected Courtyard standards, although there were two wasps nests outside our balcony. The stay was clean and very comfortable, yet inconvenient if you need to move while on the john.

The hotel is in a convenient location near the freeway and restaurants. The rooms were initially spacious and quiet on a high floor with a double queen bed, but there was an issue with the air conditioner not working. After requesting a room change, we were downgraded to a king and pull-out sofa without a discount, which was disappointing.

The hotel was a bit crowded and lacked enough linen for the pull-out sofa, yet it was comfortable and relaxing after long days of exploring the area. The rooms are always clean.

My stay at the hotel was wonderful! The room was spacious, very clean, and I would definitely stay here again despite a slight smell of smoke due to two wasp nests outside the balcony. The service was absolutely great, with friendly staff from the manager to the housekeepers, even the courtesy van driver from the airport. The location was super convenient for us, with everything we needed close by, though it had a minor downside of being within 15 minutes of necessary places. The dining experience was more than adequate in terms of size and flavor, though the lounge/breakfast area was not inviting. The facilities were in great condition.
